André C. Kjærvik, graduated in 2021 from the University of Bergen. His areas of focus have been analytical and environmental chemistry. He wrote his master’s thesis in environmental chemistry in cooperation with the University of Bergen and the Institute of Marine Research. In his thesis he worked with developing a method for quantifying metal and metal oxide nanoparticles in samples from the marine environment.
In his spare time, he likes being out in nature, hiking and reading books.
In august 2021, André moved from Bergen to Trondheim to pursue his passion for science with Chiron.
