Thanks to our active R&D department, Chiron is a well-respected analytical chemistry agency and we have taken part in many important investments that have led to significant breakthroughs. We have been involved in a large number of EU projects and project applications, particularly those requiring reference standards relating to geochemistry, petroleum refinery and environmental analysis. Current projects include the production of ‘gold standard’, carbon 13 labelled materials and synthetic cannabinoid standards for forensic applications. Sophisticated chemicals and reference materials are required for many projects and Chiron brings unique knowledge and expertise to tasks requiring preparations of new substances.
